Welcome to "Whispers of the Soul" New Years Retreat
 
We are incredibly excited to be offering this retreat for the first time, to call in an aligned and expansive new year. We invite you to take this transformational journey with us tucked away in the beautiful Sierra Nevada Mountains of Colombia. 
 
This will be our third time hosting a retreat at "Poema" retreat center, this location is truly unlike any other. The views will take your breath away, the nature will crack your heart open, and the staff will make you feel right at home with family (the healthy kind). 
 
During our time together, each day we will dive into the transformational practices of yoga, meditation, and Qi-Gong. We will also have the opportunity to take three adventures, one through the forest, one to a waterfall, and another to the beaches of the carribean. These hiking adventures will take place on days 4, 5, & 6 - giving us time to acclimate to the mountains before hand. 
 
The first two days will be dedicated to cultivating our New Years Intentions, deeping into ourselves, opening our hearts, and connecting as community. This time in community will prepare us for the following two days spent in silence. Days 4 & 5 will be spent in complete silence so we can really integrate everything into our being and allow personal time to cultivate these new energies into life. Day 6 we will open back into our voices and have the opportunity to take an incredible adventure together, down the mountain, through the national forest, and into the beautiful waters of the carribean. Day 7 will be time to integrate all that we have uncovered, discovered, and expanded into. The focus returning to community and heart centered relating. Our final day will provide the space to close our container in a sacred way and prepare us for our return home.

In this haven of tranquility, time slows to a meditative rhythm, and the chaotic whispers of the outside world fade away - and we are able to hear the whispers of our soul. The Sierra Nevada mountains become a sacred companion, teaching us the art of presence and the language of the heart. In the stillness of this mountain retreat, discover that silence is not the absence of sound but the presence of profound wisdom.
 
We will also have the honor, for the first time ever in our retreat spaces, of welcoming in a few subtle plant medicines that are native to this region. The Cacao will be sourced locally and we will have the opporutnity to grind it and prepare it ourselves for the ceremony we will take together. Rape, another plant medicine native to these mountains, will support us to deepen our meditative practice. It is know for providing improved mental clarity and concentration: The application of Rapé induces a state of intense concentration, freeing the mind from distractions and allowing for a deeper meditation. Along with energetic cleansing: Rapé is known for its cleansing properties, eliminating energetic blockages and physical, emotional, and spiritual toxins.  An additional profound benefit of Rapé is its ability to balance the two hemispheres of the brain.
